Speedy G & Skinny Pete

Speedy G and Skinny Pete were part of an operation to remove piggies from a very unsafe and risky situation. They were two of three boys that we took in.

They were listed as cage mates - one a neutered male, and one a female. However, upon pick-up, it was clear that both were male. Like their brother, Samwise Pancake, their nails and teeth were overgrown. They had no access to hay.

When lifting Skinny Pete out of his cage, we could feel every bone in his little body. Speedy G was nearly as bad. Both boys have spent weeks discovering that they are permanently safe in their new home with a W&W volunteer. Both have picked up excellent amounts of weight, and get all of the hay their little hearts desire!
